Egretta - Dream Journal

Egretta is a different kind of dream journal. More personal, more private, more you. It doesn't try to tell you what to think of yourself, but rather gives you the tool to discover your dreamscape, one morning at a time.

I created this app for the Swift Student Challenge 2024, and got awarded as Distinguished Winner with it. Since then, i never stopped to maintain it, add new features, refine others, and obsess over design, even if it means working months on a full rewrite, just for smooth glass effects.

Contacts redesign exploration

One of my silly side one-shot projects. It all started from the idea to leverage Apple's Spatial Scenes feature for avatars, mixed with blurs and Liquid Glass. It eventually evolved into an exploration of a possible future for our contacts.

I also included a feature we'd all love to see coming - a block that actually works! One tap and boom, that person is blocked on every linked socials.

The Avatars use a custom version of Liquid Glass, tailored for my needs, and apply subtle circular blur effects.

WindowSill

Few days after WWDC, @Jace and I sat down and stitched together one of our first explorations of glass materials - all of them.

MacOS

While my main apps are for iOS, i really enjoy some macOS shenanigans from time to time. Most of those projects probably won't ever see the light of day, but i thought i'd still share some of it.
